Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your AdsDial account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what gets deleted, what we must keep, and how long it takes. It applies to both the AdsDial website (adsdial.com) and the AdsDial Android app.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app: open the AdsDial app → Profile/Settings → Account → "Delete my account", and confirm. Option 2 — By email: write to [email protected] from the email address registered on your account (or with your registered phone number), with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to verify your identity before we proceed, to protect your account.

What gets deleted

Once verified and processed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data, including: your profile (name, email, phone), login credentials, profile photo and any check-in selfies, captured attendance location, messages and chat history you authored, files and content you uploaded that are not part of a completed paid order, performance/HR self-service records, device identifiers, and your push-notification token.

What we keep, and why

We retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate, overriding need: invoices, payment/transaction records, payroll and tax records, and related accounting data are kept for the statutory retention period required under applicable Indian law; minimal security/audit logs are kept to detect fraud and abuse. These records are kept in the minimum form necessary and are not used for any other purpose. Deliverables tied to a completed, paid order may be retained by the paying customer/employer as part of their own records.

Employer-managed accounts

If your AdsDial account was created by your employer/organisation (for example, a staff, HR, or creator account), your employer is the controller of work-related records. We will action your personal-data deletion request, but employment, attendance, payroll, and project records owned by your employer may be retained or deleted according to your employer's instructions and their legal obligations. We will direct your request to them where appropriate.

Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours and complete verified deletions within 30 days. We will email you a confirmation once your account and eligible data have been deleted. Backups containing residual copies are rotated out and purged within 90 days.
